The Hummingbird Review promotes fine writing by publishing both new writers and fully established literary figures. The review is committed to portraying the beauty and challenges of life - the full human experience - through literature and art, and promotes cross-cultural writing in all forms. Volume 1, Number 2 (summer/fall 2010) includes essays, prose, and poetry from a contributors list including Luis Alberto Urrea,Michael Blake, Martin Espada, Don Eulert, Said Leghlid, Dean Nelson, Michael Shrieve and writers from Cabin 20.
